This Rodriguez Fruitbat is a victim of pollution. His species is now in danger because of urban sprawl and destruction of the rainforest.
Pollution Affects Animals!
Pollution affects animals in many ways, by stealing their habitats, overhunting and the pollutants we're putting in the air and ocean animals are becoming extinct. Over six species die daily. If we don't try harder to protect the environment, that six species could turn into hundreds!
"Treat the earth well. It was not given to you by your parents, it was loaned to you by your children."
-Kenyan proverb
This quote unfortunately is often ignored. What do you think life would be like without animals?
Without animals there wouldn't be life. Animals help to pollinate plants. Therefore, without animals there won't be plants, and without plants there won't be oxygen. Humans need both to survive. If animals are what we need to live then why is it that we continue to pollute and indirectly or directly kill them out of selfishness?

The animals need your help!
You can easily make a huge difference just by recycling, using trashcans (instead of littering), not wasting water, making carpools and mass transit, and not taking the animals valuable living space. These are just a few ways to make this world a better place for everyone.
Let's protect our neighbors...
Because the world's future is in our hands.
