Well what exactly is Tech Camp? Tech Camp is web design combined with Science. We all did research, took pictures, and learned a ton about Geology, Zoology, Water Ecology, and Botany. We took multiple field trips to interesting places such as Bryant Park, Central Park Zoo, Children's Museum Of Manhattan, North River Waste Water Treatment Plant, The Museum of Natural History, and even a tour of the Bertelsmann Building. We would all like to thank these organizations and all the people who showed us around. We took digital pictures about the affects of pollution and you can see them all over this site.
As to how we went about creating all of our stuff, we split into four different groups, that were a mix of kids and counselors, and learned how to design and create web pages. That included learning the basics of computer programs in multiple different classes. Then we put our teachings to the screen and worked hard to actually make the pages. Our counselors were extremely helpful with all of our tasks.
On behalf of all of the kids here, we thank you all so much and we want to tell you how helpful you are. As stated before, we also thank all of the people who helped us during the multiple field trips. Well, after all that is said and done, I hope you enjoy all of our work and I hope that it will aid you any way that it can.
