Our Partners
At Media
Workshop we consider all schools and organizations we work with
our partners, though each partnership is unique.
Schools
selected for the Partner School program formerly supported
by the Bertelsmann Foundation's Partnership for Education program,
are schools that have gone through a rigorous application process.
Beyond receiving Media Workshop support through professional development
programs, partner schools also received tremendous benefits offered
through the Partnership for Education program, throughout the duration
of their partnership.

Beyond the
Partner School program, we also work with numerous
other schools and organizations, including
public, private and parochial schools, as well as other non-profit
organizations such as museums or after-school programs. These schools
or organizations typically hire Media Workshop to assist with their
instructional technology professional development needs. Districts
and schools are able to hire us through state and federally funded
programs, such as Targeted Instructional Staff Development grants,
Learning Technology grants, National Science Foundation grants or
a variety of private and/or corporate grants. CSD6, CSD18, the Manhattan
High School Superintendency and ASHS to name a few are several "contract"
schools that we consider our partners, since they have repeatedly
hired us over the years.
We are
also members of several consortiums that provide support to teachers
or students relative to professional development and/or instructional
technology needs.
