Workshops for Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities
The purpose of these hands-on seminars is to introduce teachers to technology, advanced internet concepts, and new media applications. The seminars will also introduce participants to techniques for finding, using, and critically evaluating information on the Web. Particular attention is given to how computers can be used to support student learning and encourage classroom communications. Through these workshops, teachers have the opportunity to apply what they have learned by creating curriculum projects.
