Communication by e-mail.

How does e-mail travel from your computer to a friend's computer? What does LOL mean? Why do people smile by typing :) ? These are just a few of the topics we are going to examine in class today!

Acroynms and Emoticons
When writing informal messages, people sometimes use a type of short-hand writing to express themselves. Also, to show feelings, people use emotional icons called emoticons :)
