Programs
We Offer at Humanities At-A-Glance
The
Bayard Rustin High School for the Humanities is dedicated to educational
excellence, academic achievement, and public service. All students
follow a college preparatory program. The focus on the humanities
was chosen because the school values not only basic literacy,
but, conceptual, critical, and aesthetic skills. Commitment to
the humanities encourages students to pride cultural tradition,
cultural change, active citizenship and private contemplation.
All students receive a cross-cultural and interdisciplinary approach
to learning with such enrichment activities as museum, theater
