Based Support Team
The School Based Support Team
(SBST) gives evaluations to students every three years or when
necessary in order to make sure that they are placed in programs
that meet their educational needs. The Education Evaluator gives
tests in reading, math and writing to determine strengths and
weaknesses in these areas. The School Psychologist gives tests
to measure general learning abilities and social/emotional development.
They are available to students, parents and staff who may have
questions or concerns.

Speech
and Language Pathologists
Our
speech and language pathologists help students with reading, writing,
public speaking, and vocabulary. Whether you need help writing
a report or preparing for a job interview, our therapists can
help. Students can find them in their offices or in the classrooms.
They provide therapy in both locations.

Humanities
Center Counselors
Students
who are mandated for counseling sees a counselor individually
or in a group. The topics of discusssion vary. The student and
counselor might talk about what is troubling the student at the
moment, any current events, or personal concerns. Counselors also
work with students on their language skills and strategies to
cope with personal and social problems.
