Academically Challenging
Our programs sets the same high standards of academic achievement as our mainstream English program.

  • All our students read a wide variety of literature, including the classics in the ESL classes.
  • Many take honors and Advanced Placement classes and go on to four years colleges and universities.
  • Focus is on English Literature while developing English Language Skills at the advanced level.

ESL Instruction

  • ESL Classes at Humanities employ an extensive array of reading materials.
  • We focus on the development of the four major communications skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
  • Our primary goals are to develop English proficiency and to promote academic achievement.
