At High School
for the Humanities, we infuse technology in our lessons seamlessly
across the curriculum. We pride ourselves with programs that use
different software applications in our computer labs.
We have two
classroom labs with 72 300pcl IBM (192 MB RAM, 6 GB hard drive)
computers. Our software applications range from tutorial programs
to programs that allow our students to do art design, web page design,
and programming in various computer languages.
Our computer
systems are equipped with Plato tutorial software for English, Math,
Science, Physics and Chemistry. We also have enrichment software
programs that help students prepare for SAT and Regents examinations.
The catalogue of other educational software programs at Humanities
include Macromedia Dreamweaver and Flash, Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator,
Image Ready, and Indesign. Our labs have Microsoft Office applications
such as Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint, and Publisher. Our students
enjoy many computing tools at Humanities High School.
