There are many different ways that websites communicate their message. We will explore different genres of educational sites that support teaching and learning. Using the web sites listed below and the Website Design Conventions handout as your guide, choose at least two websites to evaluate. Be sure to consider what you find appealing (or not) about educational websites.
By the end of this activity, you will have learned:
- major teacher resources available to educators
- what makes an effective design for a web site (important for when you create your own!)
