IntroductionFriends are very important to our lives. You can learn many things from friends.
Would you like to make new friends? First, it will be your quest to discover the meaning of friends.
Then, you will meet two new pen pals. As your quest concludes you will need to present your new friend to the class by
filling out a Friend Chart.
The Task
After discussing the story Friends in class by Taro Gomi you will now read the story Alecís Big Day by Miss Kitty. You will work with your partner to discover the following:
- Discover the meaning of friends by reading some poems about friendship
- Write a letter to two pen pals
- Complete a friend chart
- Then send your new friends a greeting card
