K-8 Educators from Community School District 6 in Washington Heights, New York, participated in a 12-week course entitled, Current Issues and Trends in Education. In the course, participants explored various ways in which new media and technology can be integrated into curriculum. Each educator created a digital portfolio that includes various elements, such as interdisciplinary teaching resources, examples of student produced work, learning activities that integrate technology, and outlines for professional development workshops. Most of the teaching resources were created in Power Point, which can be downloaded to a local computer.
